OVERSHOT COVERLET

Overshot weaving is a traditional hand weaving technique popular in the Appalachian region. It uses alternating picks of plain weave and varied floats to create a high contrast pattern. This collection aims to mix this classic technique with new colors and unconventional materials for a modern look. The final product following this study of the technique was a full sized overshot coverlet.
